The Symposium offers a range of talks

The 2018 Richard Hall Symposium welcomes speakers from across the Viking world to discuss this year’s theme of ‘Belief and Ritual in the Viking World.’

Confirmed plenary speakers for 2018 include Thomas Småberg of Malmo University on the temple and cult site at Uppåkra, Sweden, Ailsa Mainman on death and burial in Anglo-Scandinavian York, and Gareth Williams of the British Museum on the Great Heathen Army.
